Bill Dodds and his wife Olive, established W.M.Dodds in 1973 and were appointed John Deere Dealers in 1979.
The business was first located in a farm building at Marlefield Farm near Jedburgh and was relocated to larger premises in January 1980. Mr Dodds lead a team of 12 local people coming from Jedburgh and the surrounding area until his untimely death in November, 2002.
The majority of the staff have been with the company for more than 10 years and as a result have built up a strong relationship with the farming fraternity.
